Our Favorite Matcha Spot in Every Miami Neighborhood

We've done the deep dives on every matcha neighborhood in Miami, so now it's time to actually pick favorites. These are the spots we keep coming back to, one per neighborhood.

South Miami: Honey Veil

This one wasn't a hard choice. Sisters Cecilia and Regina Alcobe-Garibay turned a farmers market pop-up into Miami's most viral matcha brand in under a year, and the storefront on Sunset Dr still pulls lines around the building on weekends. The New York Summer Matcha and the honey whip on top are worth the wait.

Coconut Grove: Navi Coffee & Flowers

Part coffee shop, part florist, all charm. Navi's matcha comes with pistachio, honey, or lavender notes, which is a genuinely different move from the standard Grove matcha lineup, and you can walk out with fresh flowers too.

Wynwood: Sable Coffee

Expertly crafted espresso and matcha would be enough, but Sable also runs a vinyl listening lounge, so you can sip your matcha while actually sitting with a curated record playing instead of scrolling. It's a genuinely different Wynwood coffee experience.

Design District: Aura Matcha and Bigface

We couldn't pick just one here. Aura Matcha sources ceremonial-grade matcha directly from Japan for a smooth, playful cup, while Bigface, founded by Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler, blends high-grade ceremonial matcha with oat or almond milk and cold foam for something a little richer. Both are worth the stop.

Miami Beach: Matcha Maven

A 4.9-star favorite on Collins Ave, and for good reason. Matcha Maven treats the drink as the whole point rather than an afterthought on a bigger coffee menu, exactly the kind of dedicated, no-distractions matcha spot Miami Beach needed.

Downtown: Naughty Coffee

A truck that went TikTok-famous in Aventura and Dadeland before landing a permanent Downtown spot. Their matcha lattes and matcha chocos hold up just as well without the novelty of finding the truck.

Midtown: Banana Daddy

Yes, it's known for banana soft serve, but the matcha lineup deserves its own spotlight: Ube Coconut Matcha, Salted Maple Matcha, and a PBJ Matcha that sounds like it shouldn't work and absolutely does.

Fort Lauderdale: Alma Matcha

Worth the drive up. The original Atelier location on NW 5th Ave is where the whole Alma Matcha brand started, and the balanced lattes in flavors like salted maple and strawberry purée are exactly why it's since expanded. Just know you're paying for it, this isn't a budget stop.

Our real favorite part

Honestly, ranking matcha spots is fun, but the actual best part of any of these stops is who you bring with you. That's the whole idea behind Pilates & Lattes Club, matcha included. 🤍

Come solo, we promise you'll leave with new ones. This is open to everyone. 🎀

Want to make a morning of it? Check out our upcoming Miami events and come find your Pilates community, then go grab a matcha with your new favorite people.
